​J.H. Gordon Books is an independent bookstore selling mostly used books. We are located in The International Village BIA and have been in business since 2012. We are a general bookshop stocking literary fiction, and most genre fiction categories including mystery and crime, historical fiction, Science Fiction and Fantasy. We also have a selection of children's books, poetry, drama, and literature in other languages. Our non-fiction shelves include history, science, biography and memoir, art and architecture, travel, food and wine, religion and philosophy, and more. 

Selling Books to Us

You are welcome to bring your gently used books into the shop in exchange for store credit. Your credit is valid for one year and can be used toward in-store purchases - special orders are exempt. We do occasionally buy large libraries from estate sales, etc. and will offer cash in those circumstances; you must call ahead and make an appointment if you have a large collection to sell.

-Time Life books
-Readers Digest Condensed 
-Discarded Library Books
- Books that are soiled, hightlighted, smoke/water damaged
-Textbooks
-Harlequin romances
- Magazines, videos, CDs,
